The Southern African American Heritage Center is very excited that you are planning a visit to our center.  Our mission is to promote, preserve and document African American history in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

How to Register
If you are interested in bringing a group to the Heritage Center for a tour you may register online.  Please allow 7 business days for processing your registration.  Once your request has been processed, an invoice and confirmation letter will be emailed to you.

*Please note that tour dates requested less than three weeks in advance may not be available.

PAYMENT: Upon your arrival, admission will be charged as you enter the gift shop area.  We only accept cash and check.  Please designate one group representative to meet the tour guide(s), arrange payment, etc. If the group will be paying separately, they will pay as they enter the gift shop.  

 *Cancellations must be submitted five days prior to your visit.

 There are parking spaces available on Kershaw Street.   Thank you for your interest!
